Froggie Luvin!

As I went to hang out the washing today, I disturbed, what looked like, a considerable number of frogs in the pond! The water was bubbling with ‘activity’ although these two hadn’t yet made it into the water!

The first of the spawn was laid a week a go on Valentines Day (same time as in 2007), so it’s looking hopeful for lots of tadpoles again this year!

Crickey, or should I say croakey. It certainly does look like you should do well for frogs this year! x

I just love frogs. I just purchased some froggy fabric to make a quilt for my grandchild to-be. Due to arrive in August. I'll post the fabric next time I have some posting time.

Theres something about a bit of wildlife in your garden. we had 4 roe deer and a buck the other week on the golf course at the back of us, and then a phesant...and then 2 woodpeckers, aswell as the pesky squirrels and loads a birds! Oh, and the rat in the compost bin, but I love it! (Good luck for the patter of tiny feet!)

We're hoping to get some frogspawn at home this year too. We cleaned out and tidied up the pond last year and saw a load fo frogs in it during the summer so here's hoping they're still there! :)
