What beautiful pictures ... how long did it take for the transformation? Shame we can’t do the same thing when we hit 40 ... shed are old skin and look all beautiful and brand new again!

What a great idea I like the sound of that!
They take about an hour to hatch then sit drying their wings in the sun.

I have really enjoyed reading all your blog and it is great to see your allotment progressing.

I just adore gyp - but it doesn't seem to like growing in my garden for some reason.

My gyp isn't doing much either! I will have to buy some to put into the bridesmaid's posys and the table decorations with the sweet peas, unless it has a massive growth spurt in a month!
I'm glad you enjoy my blog I hope to have more time to add to it after my wedding! SHD

Thanks for sharing! I love the bug photos as much as the garden photos! What wonderful flowers you'll have for the big day.

Oh, how wonderful! I just found your blog via weird bunny. We have a similar experiment going on with caterpillars. My boys are fascinated with insects at the moment. Love your blog.
